Each prospective student will be given a full diagnostic evaluation by our therapists followed by a one-hour consultation with the student's parent(s). The evaluation will give the therapist pertinent information about the student relating to the programs we teach.

The diagnostic evaluation measures:

  • Decoding
  • Spelling skills
  • Phonemic awareness
  • Comprehension
  • Critical thinking
  • Concept imagery
The one-hour consultation includes:
  • Full explanation of each evaluation and how each evaluation works
  • Full explanation of the results of each evaluation
  • Description of the different treatment options available
  • Full explanation of why each treatment program will work and what to expect from each treatment program
